Fancy growing your own vegetables? At Oasis, you can learn and share gardening skills in lovely surroundings, meet new people and grow your own delicious vegetables. Free of charge and all skill levels are welcome. They are mental health friendly and always delighted to hear from new volunteers.
Oasis meet at Grimesthorpe Allotments on Grimesthorpe Road every Tuesday afternoon.
Public Transport – from Sheffield City centre, take the 97 or 98 bus. Get off at the first stop on Scott Road, it’s just a 3 minute walk from there, head uphill on Ellesmere Road north to the end of the road then follow the footpath down to the right which leads to the gates.
Parking – they suggest you park on Grimesthorpe Road, by the junction with Torbay Road. It’s free, and close to the site. The postcode is S4 8LE.
Site access – come to the allotment gates, just off of Grimesthorpe Road and opposite the junction with Torbay Road. They meet at the gate at 1.30pm. If you’re running late, call the Oasis number on 07716 290721 and they’ll come to open the gate.
Contact Fran (T: 07716 290721; E: [email protected]) if you have any questions or are interested in joining.
Please note: events may not be running on bank holidays and over the Christmas period. Please double check with the organiser (before attending) if you are unsure.
