SAYiT Fruitbowl is for 11-17 year olds who are LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning+) or questioning their gender or sexuality. The group is run by the LGBT+ charity SAYiT.
Fruitbowl is run by SAYiT youth workers who work to ensure the groups reflect the wants and needs of their members. In the past they have had people come in to deliver sessions such as; spoken word and drama workshops, animals come to visit the groups, made tie-dye tops, music sessions, sports and also educational session around autism, trans awareness, LGBT+ history and self care.
The group is split into 2 age groups who meet separately at different times:
- Younger Group (11-14) – Every Thursday 4pm – 5.30pm
- Older Group (15-17) – Every Thursday 6pm – 7.30pm
