SAYiT Prism is for 18-25 year olds who are LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning+) or questioning their gender or sexuality. The group is run by the LGBTQ+ charity SAYiT.
Prism is run by SAYiT youth workers who work to ensure the groups reflect the wants and needs of their members. In the past they have had people come in to deliver sessions such as; spoken word and drama workshops, animals come to visit the groups, made tie-dye tops, music sessions, sports and also educational sessions around autism, trans awareness, LGBTQ+ history and self care.
The group meets every other Wednesday evening 5.30 – 7pm.
If you are a young person interested in Prism, contact them and they will arrange an initial meeting to see if it will be the right fit for you: E: [email protected] or T: 0114 201 2633.
If you are referring a young person from another organisation please check the referral information on their website www.sayit.org.uk/referrals
You can find out more on their website.
