Writing for Wellbeing is a 10-week programme run by Kaleido Arts for Wellbeing.

Each week builds on the one before, taking the writers on a journey that encourages authenticity, freedom and hope.

Each session is two hours long with plenty of time to socialise and drink tea and coffee built in.

Activities include a warm-up of some sort eg. creating a human knot for the theme of relating, together with a series of writing exercises and group sharing to explore the theme of the week. Writing exercises might involve a prompt like a piece of music, a quote or an image to explore in writing and might involve writing independently or collaboratively.

  • Writers are encouraged to share but not pressured
  • Everything personal stays in the room
  • Workshops are a safe space
