Alzheimer’s Society is a national support and research charity for people with dementia and their carers. They provide information and support about all forms of dementia through publications, their website and the Dementia Support Line.
Dementia Support Line
Alzheimer’s Society operates a helpline which you can contact on 0333 150 3456. This will connect you to a Dementia Advisor who can provide you with information, support, guidance and signposting to other appropriate organisations. It is open from 9am – 8pm (Monday to Wednesday), 9am – 5pm (Thursday and Friday), and 10am – 4pm (Saturday and Sunday).
Support for callers who have speech and/or hearing difficulties
If you have speech difficulties and/or hearing difficulties, and you have access to a textphone, or access to a computer adapted to operate as a textphone, you can contact Alzheimer’s Society by using Text Relay to call the Dementia Support Line on 18001 0333 150 3456.
If you use BSL (British Sign Language) then you can also access their Dementia Support Line via SignVideo.
