British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) are a national charity offering support around pregnancy, contraception and abortion. They offer information, treatment and support to women and men about:
- pregnancy testing
- abortion
- contraception, including emergency contraception (such as the “morning after” pill)
- vasectomies
- miscarriage care
- Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing and treatment
- erectile dysfunction

Support around abortion
Most abortion treatment is covered by the NHS. BPAS provide abortions on behalf of the NHS. They also offer a counselling service before and after abortions, available through local centres.
