They also provide multi-faith rooms at SHSC in-patient sites, which you are welcome to use if you are visiting a loved one, as a place to pray and to have a quiet space to reflect and find strength and peace.

This entry was formerly the Carers Group at the Michael Carlisle Centre. However, the group was stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic and there are currently no plans to restart it. We have decided to change the page to the SHSC Chaplaincy Team, who ran the Carers Group, as they are still able to support individuals.
The Chaplaincy team at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust are a multi-faith team providing support for service users on inpatient wards, their families and carers, and for staff.
A member of the team can meet you face to face (at one of the hospitals), or online, or talk on the phone. They are not trained counsellors but offer a compassionate, listening ear. They are here for everyone, whether they have a religious faith or belief or not.
Please feel free to contact them on [email protected] or 0114 271 8022.
