Carmel Care Centre is part of the Catholic Diocese of Hallam Caring Service. It is designed as a calm and welcoming space for those who are experiencing loneliness, addiction, and social isolation. The service operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
They provide the following activities:
- Conversation Group – Monday 10:30am-12pm followed by lunch 12-1:30pm
- Drop in and lunch – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am-2pm
- Art Group – Tuesday 11am-2pm
- Music group – Wednesday 11am-2pm
- Addiction group – Tuesday and Thursday 11am-2:30pm. A support group based on the 12-step programme for people who are worried about their drinking habits
They can also provide 1:1 and relationship therapy, but this is available by appointment only.
