Childline is a free, confidential 24-hour helpline for children and young people in the UK, provided by the NSPCC. Children and young people (aged under 19) can call the helpline about any problem, at any time – day or night. The number is 0800 1111
1-2-1 Online Chat
It is also possible to contact a counsellor using their 1-2-1 online counsellor chat facility, or through their message boards. This is also available 24 hours a day.
SignVideo
SignVideo lets you contact a counsellor through a BSL interpreter. This is available Mon – Fri 8am – 8pm and on Sat 8am – 1pm.

The Childline website contains a variety of articles including advice on bullying, sexual health, abuse & safety, home & families, eating, feelings & emotions, self-harm, sexual identity, mental health, sex & relationships, crime & law, deaf issues, racism, school worries, and safety & online bullying.
