Christ Church Stocksbridge run a weekly mental health friendly event called The Meeting Place Social Cafe. The event is run by volunteers and is for:
- Anyone feeling lonely and isolated, who would like to spend time with others.
- Anyone who would like help and support to find out more about local services and activities.
- Anyone feeling low, who would like someone to talk to in a caring environment.
- Anyone new to Stocksbridge who would like to meet other people and find out about what is available in the local area.
It runs every Monday (except bank holidays) from 9.30 – 1.00pm in the Community Hall. They serve breakfast, lunch and hot drinks.
