FURD (Football Unites, Racism Divides) is a youth and social inclusion project and charity based in Sheffield. It aims to combat racism and increase understanding between different communities.
The FURD Belonging Hub is a community-focused service uniting individuals aged 15 to 60+ and beyond. The Belonging Hub aim to support people through various health and wellness programs. They offer access to fitness and sports activities, nutritional advice, mental health resources, and educational and skill enhancement opportunities. FURD also have a wide range of strands to their work. This includes:
- Youth work
- Inclusive football sessions
- U-Mix Centre facilities: 3G football pitch, a recording studio, dance studio, gym, IT suite, positive activity/function room, resource & information centre and meeting room
- Inclusive, community based activities for adults
- International work
