Gendered Intelligence (GI) is a national charity aiming to increase understanding of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people. Some of their projects are listed below – please see their website for a full guide to their work.

Services

Gendered Intelligence provide services to a wide age-range but particularly specialise in supporting young trans people between 8-25. Details of their services, projects and activities can be found on their website, grouped for: trans people; family of trans people; and fpr professionals and organisations.

Therapist Directory

GI have created a directory of counsellors and therapists who have completed the two-day GI course, “Working Alongside Trans, Gender Diverse and Questioning People”, be registered with a professional body that requires them to be qualified to recognised standards, and have signed up to the GI Standards of Provision.

Support Line (18+)

GI run a support line offering direct support through email, WhatsApp, or phone, for people waiting for gender-affirmative healthcare. The support line is for trans people, their friends and family and professionals directly impacted by gender healthcare waiting lists.
