Mums In Need (MIN) is a Sheffield based charity that works on confronting coercive control. They provide support for mums in Sheffield and the surrounding areas who have left emotionally abusive relationships with the other parent of their children, and who are often still going through post-separation abuse at the hands of their ex-partner.
Mums In Need equips their Mins (service users) with the tools they need to move forward and rebuild their lives. The support that MIN can provide is tailored to each individual, and can include 1:1 caseworker support, counselling sessions, legal services, wellbeing sessions and peer group support.
If you would like to access support from Mums In Need or would like further information, you can contact them via email on [email protected] at any time, or call 0800 852 7414 (Mon-Fri, 10am-3pm). Please be aware they are operating a waiting list – please contact them for details of the current waiting time. Although there is no set charge for their support, please note MIN asks for an initial voluntary contribution of £5, plus a voluntary monthly donation of £5, however this isn’t compulsory.
