Anyone can use the NHS Walk-In Centre at Broad Lane for urgent but not life threatening health problems. It is open from 8.00am-10.00pm, every day of the year. You do not have to be registered at the service to have an appointment. You can simply turn up to be seen by one of the care clinicians.
The NHS Walk In Centre is nurse led. Please check their website if you are unsure as to whether you can be seen.
For all medical emergencies that pose an immediate threat to a person’s health or life, call 999 and request an ambulance or go to A&E at the Northern General Hospital, Herries Road, Sheffield, S5 7AU.
Anyone can use the service and remain registered with their own GP surgery. If you live in Sheffield, you can choose to register as a patient of the Broad Lane Medical Centre, which is also part of the Sheffield City GP Health Centre.
