Nightstop South Yorkshire provides free emergency accommodation for young people who are in immediate housing crisis, at risk of homelessness, or are sleeping rough across the UK.
Nightstop works with homeless and vulnerable people aged 11-25. They provide a safe bedroom in the homes of trained and vetted volunteer hosts on a night-by-night basis. Volunteer hosts provide a welcome, a hot meal, breakfast, access to clean clothes and toiletries, a bedroom, and a ‘listening ear’ to young people.
In South Yorkshire, the Nightstop service is run by Depaul UK. Referrals are made by calling 0114 278 7152 between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. A young person can be referred by professional services or they can refer themselves.
