Sheffield Adult Autism and Neurodevelopmental Service (SAANS) is an NHS service responsible for the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
The clinic primarily provides assessment and diagnosis, and only provides limited ongoing support. This can include occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and support with medication. A post-diagnostic follow-up appointment is offered if a diagnosis of autism is made.

Clients outside Sheffield may also be able to be referred to this service subject to funding.
Referrals are accepted from both primary and secondary care teams. You cannot self-refer to this service.
