Sheffield Central Counselling are a private service offering low cost counselling to NHS staff and individuals, couples and families who are on a low income. Their sessions cost £20 for individuals, £30 for couples and £40 for families (small family groups of up to five with children aged 11 plus). Low cost sessions are delivered by a Counsellor in Training. They also offer standard price sessions with a qualified associate counsellor.
Their counsellors can speak to you either via telephone or video call (using Zoom or another online platform). Some of their councillors also offer face to face sessions at Courtwood House in Sheffield City Centre.
To enquire, please ring on 0114 3260043 or email [email protected]. Phone lines are open for enquiries Mon – Fri 9.30am – 5.30pm. Low cost sessions are available on Tues, Weds and Thurs evenings. Standard price sessions are available Mon – Sat.
For individual counselling enquiries you will be sent an assessment form to fill in, and Sheffield Central Counselling will asses if the sessions are appropriate for you. If you are applying as a couple or family they will speak to you over the phone to complete a brief assessment.
