Spectrum Gaming is an autistic-led UK charity, which supports autistic young people (aged 10-17). It’s a community which you can join if you are an autistic young person and members have access to the following:
– A safe online server called Discord which can be used to connect with other autistic young people.
– Support from a team of trusted neurodivergent adult youth workers – under the guidance of a clinical psychologist.
– Opportunities to explore what it means to be autistic.
– An exclusive Minecraft server for members to develop problem solving and enterprise skills in the safety of a virtual world.
– Face to face social meetups for members in Sheffield.
– Opportunities to take part in advocacy projects, improving the outlook for autistic people now and in the future.
Face to Face meetups
Spectrum Gaming run meetups in Sheffield. They are all free of charge and offered exclusively to members. Events are advertised via email and the young people’s Discord servers. All events are led by the interests/suggestions of the young people in the community.
Training
Spectrum Gaming also offers training to parents, professionals and organisations.
