Step Out Sheffield is a volunteer led organisation which provides accredited short walks of up to one hour. All walks are free, run throughout the year and they are open to all. Walks run every week in different locations across Sheffield, with the main aim of getting outside, having fun, and socialising.
You can find out which walks they do by area or by which day of the week on their website.
To join any of the walks, arrive at the scheduled meeting point approximately 10 minutes before the walk is due to start and speak to any of the volunteer leaders (in high vis jackets). If you would like, the volunteer leaders can pair you with another walker to keep you company and tell you more about the particular walk.
For more information on the walks or if you feel like you may need additional support in joining the group please call Step Out Sheffield T: 07505 639 524. Their website is also a detailed and up to date resource for those who would like to join a walking group.
If you are a health and social care professional you can also refer clients and service users to Step Out Sheffield.
