Young Minds is a national charity working to improve the mental health of all children and young people. They work with young people, as well as their parents, and professionals.
The website provides lots of resources for young people on a wide range of issues they might be facing, including where to find support and help. Young Minds also provide comprehensive information on accessing CAMHS as a young person.
Young Minds also provide free advice and support for parents if they are worried about their child’s mental health. They also provide a free parents helpline T: 0808 802 5544 (Mon-Fri 09.30am-4pm) or via the webchat on their website.
They also provide a section for teachers and other professionals working with young people. This includes information on training they can provide.
