Supported Accommodation and Housing Support

YWHP provides accommodation and housing support in order to establish a safe and secure home which provides the crucial foundation for recovery. They offer a safe shared house, and self contained single flats and houses for young women with children.

When clients feel ready to move on, YWHP can help with resettlement and integration support in their new home.

They also offer an outreach service for those young women who already have somewhere safe to live but would benefit from YWHP’s specialist therapeutic support services.

Specialist Therapeutic Support and Practical Help

YWHP provides person centered holistic support that is based on individual needs. With specialist support workers, clients are able to develop their support so they can achieve their personal goals as well as therapeutic interventions and activities.

YWHP run Protect Yourself which are groups and 1:1 sessions for girls and young women in order to learn personal safety and healthy relationships. They also run Parents as First Teachers which is a parenting support programme for ‘at risk families’.
